This section of the FZ-10 drives me crazy due to the unsymmetrical design and void left in the plastics. Does anyone have the means to produce a piece of plastic matching the material and color of the factory plastics? Two holes could be drilled to match the other side for fasteners to hold the new piece in place, maybe two tabs can slip around the side of the radiator. Pics below

I dig it. If someone can do it I might be interested too. I didn't even notice that on the bike 😂

Lack of response may be because it's only visible as pictured. Unless you can find someone who actually does this kind of plastic custom work you may have to just live with it. Could be worse. It could be two totally different headlights like the BMW S1000R. I don't like having an ugly catalytic converter, but I'll probably keep it. Forget about it and focus on all the beauty around it. Besides, the best part is the ride.
Cheers!

I'm under the impression it's there for some sort of aerodynamics vs esthetics. I wouldn't want to roll the dice changing that necessarily unless you change the entire front layout.

LOL come on, adding that piece would make the bike more aerodynamic and help guide more air to the radiator whilst improving the aesthetics and symmetrical design of the bike.

The piece on the right (of the bike) covers the radiator overflow tank.. There is no tank on the left side, and no cover.
It takes some effort t make a mold for ABS or polyethylene. If you could get a digital scan of the right-side cover, you could flip it in the software, then have one dogitally printed. It might cost over $100, not counting the scan.

The red stripe on the tire is a lot more noticable. Focus on getting rid of the assymetrical stripe and worry less about the missing body feature.
Ride more, worry less ;-)

Not serious on my part. It took quite a while to rub my stripe off. We've all been there.

I see this as a great spot to put a black mesh cover w/leds behind it. Red glow would look interesting.

not sure why you want to add weight TO the bike? I'm always looking at ways to remove weight.

wonder if that reservoir is the sam on the inside of the mounting bracket. Could just buy one of those and put it on the other side, maybe... I dunno.

Old thread but I'm just as annoyed with this as you. Ever find a solution?
