They both look sweet. The two-color scheme looks faster, but the three-color looks high-end factory.
My preference, if it were me, would not be a color commonly associated with another brand. On the other hand, there aren't many colors that have gone unused. The yellowish orange in the first picture is unique.
I've heard people say that bright color wheels show grime quickly. Something to think about. The accented wheels in the first photo might be easier maintenance.

Yes, I think what ever color I go, I like the black wheels with the accent color lip instead of all one color.

Interesting how they all have FZ-09 headlights. I like my transformer better :-)
I do plan on ceramic coating my exhaust and have been struggling with choosing black or silver. These pictures make the silver look like a great choice. Of course, my -10 is black, so I'm still not sure.

Looks good. I think it matches up better with your black muffler. I'm keeping my stock titanium, so leaning more towards the non-contrasting silver ot titanium.

The transformer shape probably contributes to better wind protection as well. Even with a decent screen, my FZ-09 was not as smooth and quiet as the stock -10 spoiler.

Yeh....probably right. Oh and not my bike. LOL I am waiting for a bit on exhaust till more options come out. Stock still sounds awesome!! ;-)
Silver Powedercoat will probably stay nice looking the longest too. |

I think any good ceramic would stay nice forever. My biggest problem with color choice is how different pictures in all of their sample galleries vary so much. Titanium looks exactly like our muffler in some shots and an almost white silver in others to a dingy brownish gold in others yet. Must be mostly the ambient light effect or just different cameras being used. The one that consistenly looks the best is glacier black. I saw a color sample of ceramkoat in glacier titanium that looked exactly the same as our muffler, but haven't seen any actual pictures on a motorcycle. Keeping the entire system the same color looks the best in my opinion.

Yup. With photos it is so hard to get accurate colors of anything. Ambient lighting, camera white balance setting and such.
I've got photos of my bike from my phone that make it look so many different shades of color. LOL

Purely paint scheme, this is my favorite. I don't care for the bobtail look of the bike, or the mid-2000's CBR-esque exhaust. I'd also prefer the wheels to be black with red at the edges. I wouldn't kick it out of my garage though. |
