I changed the spark plugs, and now the cruise control light flashes when I try to turn it on. All switches are good, and no fault codes per reader. It had a 90 fault code,I cleared it,and was able to turn it on. Once bike started though,it went back to flashing again. I can't find anything wrong, and dealer wants to charge an exorbitant amount of money to test it. Any ideas?

I went down the code list in the 2017 service manual and couldn't find 90 so if you have any idea what that is, let us know.
The cruise control system will not allow activation when there's any fault code so if you're having a check engine light, cruise control will not work.
Really need to know what that fault code is.
Only thing I can recommend is go back under the tank and make sure all those miscellaneous plugs for various sensors or systems are all plugged in. It's easy to miss those when putting bikes back together.

For MT-10 Gen 2, refer below Cruise Control system diagram. Yamaha troubleshooting says, Cruise control system indication light status "Flashing" can be caused by below 3 reasons: 1) Cruise Control Switch defective 2) Cruise Control Fuse Blown 3) Defective ECU Only way to diagnostic "Flashes" is by erasing DTC fault code (condition should not exist). DTC Code "90" refers to "90_ABS": CAN communication between ECU & Hydraulic unit problem. Mostly when you open tank and other wiring to change spark plugs, something might be loose. Gen-2 are tricky due to utilization of front part for wiring harness which used to be intake area on Gen-1.
