Why not just cut the wires by the sensors and shrink-wrap them? Easier than getting to the connectors.

Why not just cut the wires by the sensors and shrink-wrap them? Easier than getting to the connectors. Connectors are readily accessible, even the one above the clutch with a bit of patience. If you don't do any irreparable damage, you can always return to stock if required. Plus when on selling the new owner gets a warm fuzzy feeling when they get all the unmolested OEM bits, even if like you they have no intention of using them.

Where did you get those blank-plugs at? Just a quick add. Using the blank plug, I filled the wire tubes with high temp silicone and plugged them into the open connectors that were left on the bike. img host

Thank you OP for this.
My tuner recommended that I lift the tank to get to the RHS O2 sensor connector but I followed your guide and got it out in a flash.
It was honestly way quicker than I could get the supposedly easier LHS O2 sensor out.

On the 2020 is it still necessary to remove the O2 sensors when you choose to “disable” them in the flash. Is this w Woolich or FT software? Other bikes O2 sensors are controlled by the ECU, & can have their function flashed off, but I’m new to the MT 10.

The right side 02 sensor connector took me over an hour to get disconnected. There was no room and I had the hardest time getting it to rotate and show me the clip. I almost resorted to lifting the tank but did not give up!
