Hi all.
LONG POST ALERT!! HELP NEEDED!!
So, I purchased my 10 six weeks back. The bike is a 2016 model and on 16k mileage. Full Akra system already on the bike.
I knew about the infamous snatchy throttle at the bottom end upon purchase, so booked it in for full dyno mapping. The bike was rideable, just not the best in slow moving situations.
So, the map went ahead and at first I was very pleased that it seemed to have sorted the issue. As the ride went on it started to gradually to start snatching again and went right back to the way it was before. Only this time the snatching was more aggressive, due to bike now having slightly more power.
I have since done a full service, including plugs. I've adjusted the chain to correct slack AND full degrease and lubrication.
Again, at first it felt to be better and around 20 minutes into the ride it started again. Only this times it's a LOT worse. To the point the bike just isn't rideable.
I've contacted the mapper and he claimed it was fine for him (which I expected). They are taking the bike back in next week to have a look though.
The bike is also due to be recalled for a Cruise Control issue from years back. So I was also going to ask them to have a look while they have it.
Sorry for the long post, but I have reached the limit of my knowledge on this one, and was wondering if anyone would be able to help?
It's killing me see all my mates go out. Haha.

So there's a common misconception that the power modes change engine power or fuel mapping. This is incorrect. They are just throttle maps that change the throttle percentages at different throttle positions. They all deliver 100 % engine power at full throttle. It's only at what curve the throttle gets there.
So if you're finding A or B mode still too aggressive even after a flash, try standard. Standard is the best mode for throttle control on the stock bike.

I'm inclined to go down the TPS route after some further research. |

If it's fine at one point but going back to the way it was then it's no the flash. The flash is hard-coded values that won't change on their own. Mine has a 2WDW tune and it didn't completely get rid of the snatchy throttle but it did dampen it (among other things).
As Redandblack said the modes don't change the power, they change how the ECU opens the throttle plates in relation to how you twist the throttle - STD being most tame.
The snatchy on/off throttle on these bikes is a common complaint when stock mapping is concerned. The tuners usually reduce engine braking which has the benefit of making the on/off transition less snatchy because it keeps the throttle plates open a slight bit more on decel.
On mine if you're sitting idling in gear the idle will rise once you start letting out the clutch, long before any clutch bite happens. This is the ECU opening the throttle plates slightly more with the clutch disengaged. If yours doesn't do this the tuner may not have made the appropriate changes.
