Firstly, I know saddle comfort is a very subjective experience. When I purchased my 2018 from a private party, it came with the OEM saddle and a saddle he had custom made by Mr. Ed's. The OEM was intolerable for me, the Mr. Ed's was okay, but at the end of long day rides, I knew my ass needed a better option. I use my MT mostly for long day rides and 3-5 day road trips. I've had three BMS ride-in seat builds over the years. Just a few days I did a road trip to Ventura and Adrian built me a great seat. He's running a 25% off sale so it came to $450. Quite a bit cheaper than Corbin and not too much more than the Yamaha comfort seat. The majority of his seat builds are of course remote: you ship him your saddle, he gets all the info from you, builds the seat and ships back. I've also done several ride-in seat builds at Corbin. BMS seats are not as hard as the Corbin, but firmer (more supportive) than OEM or the Mr Ed's.
