That's great but what about the factory bar ends?

Can't use them as these don't have the internal threads. Need to pick up bar ends with these bars. That'll be pretty much the same for any aftermarket bars.

You can buy a tap and cut new threads in these bars to accept the factory bar ends. I have done it on several sets of pro taper bars. I assume these Rizoma's will be no different.

I've never done that. Good idea. You happen to know what size I need and how difficult that is I have to buy one I don't know if it's cost-effective plus you would need rizoma risers to fit these correctly.

Any of those Rizoma bars will fit the stock risers as long as they are 1-1/8. I have the tap in my tool box at home, I'll post the size later. I have a set of black MA009 bars coming that I will be tapping the ends and using the stock risers. MA009 are close to stock for measurements.

The red is gorgeous. The ID of the bars is smaller than I thought, I hope the bars ends I have fit. If you can get that tap size I might have to get one. I'll find out tonight

The bar ends that came with my mirrors are 17mm lol. Stock bar ends are M16x1.5. just ordered a tap for $12 shipped on eBay

Installed my MA009 bars last night. You will need to drill out the ends before running the tap into them. I used a 9/16 bit. The Rizoma bars have a bit more pullback than the stock bars.

Buy a tap and thread it into the ends of the Rizoma bars, I've done multiple sets and PJ will do it for a nominal fee, if you order bars from him. New website is pjsparts4u.com/

Had to drill them out first though. Bought them from PJH, he didn't mention anything about tapping the ends.

I usually hit the ends with a large unibit and put an angle on the end, the tap slides right in then.
