Anybody hear about transmission problems?
Dude at cycle gear told me some people are having catastrophic transmission problems.

No it's not been mentioned on any of the forums.
But your question reminds me of this:
"Um, he's sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious."

There was a recall on the R1 about the transmissions,they were replacing them... i dont remember what the issue was,but Yamaha fixed it by the time the -10 came out.

That was an R1 issue only. Does not effect the FZ10.

This tranny is one of the smoothest of any Yamaha I have ever owned and I have owned a few lol This is my second bike and I've got to admit, its pretty smooth. |
