So, while swapping sprockets all was going smooth and quick until I finished and noticed the chain changes tension by quite a bit in different spots. Chain js brad new good DID chain too. Here's a video of it. Plus yes I know running in gear on a stand is kinda dumb but I had to for the video. Im also pretty sure bearing and all are fine.

You're describing a worn chain but I see that you've replaced it and it's brand new. Something isn't straight. Did you check if the rear sprocket was seated correctly and/or is the wheel straight at the rear.

Like mindcrime said that's typically a worm chain issue. What rear sprocket is that? I've seen a few that weren't machined properly and weren't concentric and caused the same issue.

Is the chain really loose and tight? I know when you run a bike on the stand like that the apparent tension can vary just due to the ease of the wheel rotating. You might get a better idea if you were to ride the back brake slightly to cause some drag. How does this feel when you are riding?

I think we're talking to ourselves here. I'd be surprised if he comes back. 🤦

Every time I run the bike on the stand (not often) the tension changes and the chain slaps around. I've replaced the chain/sprocket on my FZ8 just to get the same behavior.
