For "improper operation". My damn Translogic sensor pull function (upshift) has been flaky for two days. Today it stopped altogether. Left a light this morning right up the street from my house and it revved out because it wouldn't upshift. Cop was behind me and pulled me over for the noise. Gave a warning on the ticket for speed - estimated 45 in a 30. That's just a warning so can't fight that. Ticket is only $55 too. Wonder if it's worth paying the $25 filing fee and hoping a magistrate believes my story or he'll just brush it off like the cop did. Here's the relevant section - MGL Chapter 90 Section 16: malegislature.gov/Laws/GeneralLaws/PartI/TitleXIV/Chapter90/Section16I'm guessing it's this part: No person operating a motor vehicle Oh well. What you gonna do lol. Gotta get ahold of Translogic today and start troubleshooting. I can't seem to win with these damn qs/blipper systems!

Wow! That's such unfortunate timing, but at least it's not a moving violation. Really lame that you got pulled over for that though... Considering all the laws we break on these bikes, I guess a ticket for this is "best case" scenario...
Good luck getting your quickshifter to work as expected!

My cousin is a cop in the state and he says it is a moving violation and it's 1 point. Guess I'll pay the $25 and contest it. Assist heard back from Translogic so maybe I'll have that sorted before my court date and I can bring the email chain as proof of a problem. All the shit I hear about FTECU sensors going bad and now my TL sensor goes while the FTECU never failed lol

Dang, that's unfortunate. I would contest it. With all the legal technicalities it's worth a shot.
