Hi All, I bought an MT-10 last month and have been lurking for a bit trying to learn more about the bike but the pop-ups on this site yelling at me to stop browsing and create an account became unbearable so here I am Previously riding a 2013 FZ8 that I really enjoyed, but as often happens I felt myself outgrowing it and wanting "more". Came across a great deal on this MT-10. One owner 2021 model with only 1100km. The previous owner added an oem comfort seat, tail tidy and a windshield but otherwise completely stock. Rode it and fell in love with the character of the bike; obscenely powerful, nice balance of ride and handling, and surprisingly comfortable for what it is. Looks are subjective, but I really like it. I think it looks purposeful like a fighter jet, or maybe a Decepticon according to my 9-year old son. It feels like a substantial, well built machine and fits my 6ft2 frame like it was custom tailored to me. And the sound of the engine as it goes through the revs...my, oh my...what an experience! I've never had a bike that lifts the front end so easily...I've put about 800km on it so far and am still a little afraid of it if I'm to be honest lol, but we're learning to get along and I can see myself keeping this bike for many years. So far I've added Progrip Superbike grips, ASV shorty levers and a Nelson-Rigg tailbag, and that's it for now as our season is coming to a close here, but there is more to come, there always is... I don't have many pictures of it yet but here is the day I picked it up: Anyways, boring intro rant done! Thank you for reading and I look forward to spending some time here getting to know my new baby and my fellow MT riders. Cheers, Michael

Congrats on the bike! It's awesome that you got one with such low mileage!
I'm also coming from an FZ8. I didn't outgrow the Fz8, the bike is still way faster than I am... However, I love the advancement of the 10 years in technology the 22' model has.
Welcome to the forum, and enjoy the bike!

To be clear, when I say "outgrew" the bike, I don't mean I became faster than it, it's still a fantastic bike that has more than enough performance for me. I just wanted a change I guess, and something physically bigger, I was starting to feel cramped on it after an hour in the saddle. The MT is much more comfortable for me. I agree with you on the tech. I resisted for awhile, I loved that the FZ8 had zero assists and was completely analog but I have to admit the features on the new bike have grown on me. I never thought I would appreciate cruise control on a bike so much.
