Hey guys I'm to the point the pain in my old hips aren't letting me enjoy riding my fz anymore. Wondering if some rearsets would relieve the pain in my hips from being kinked up all the time. So guys or gals that are running rearsets have they relaxed the kink at the hip or do they cause more of a kink in the hips?

As I dont have aftermarket rearsets, I cant speak to what they could possibly do for you. I do know that a taller seat or lower footpegs (or both) will decrease the angle that your hips and knees are at. You can use www.cycle-ergo.com to adjust some values and see the different angles that apply. Personally, I do a few stretches regularly to loosen my hips and doing so has made a noticable difference in being able to ride longer, without isues.

Thank you for the reply. I already have the comfort seat and knight industries 1.5" drop pegs. Had injections in the hips about 4 months ago. Stretches don't help because of all the nerve damage from 2 back surgeries. Wondering if maybe some different risers to raise and rearset the bars would help.
