Hello,
I have a 2017 mt-10 SP and had an engine swap done (because my crank shaft went after about 20K KMS) along with front fork seals/fluid replaced. Since then I have noticed my rear suspension is very sharp and changing setting on the dash does not seem to make any difference.
I have check the two cables that run from the suspension to under the tank and all good there, any suggestions?
Any help would be much appreciated
EDIT: There are no errors showing up on my dash.

So for rear shock assembly on SP, compression and rebound damping are done by stepper motor controlled by SCU. Issue with SCU itself should through code or show yellow shock symbol on dash. Verify connection between with SCU coupler & rear shock absorber assembly stepper motor. May be you need to connect OBD to read open or short circuit stepper motor. There are four pins: left to right when looking at it (big connection notch on top and two small notch on bottom): 1, 2, 3 & 4
Connect the pocket tester multimeter to the stepping motor side.
connect Positive tester probe “1” and Negative tester probe “2”
Measure the resistance of the stepping motor between “1” and “2”. Specified resistance: 14.8–18.2 Ohms (When the motor is cold at 20 degC (68 degF) connect Positive tester probe “3” and Negative tester probe “4”
Measure the resistance of the stepping motor between “3” and “4”. Specified resistance: 14.8–18.2 ohms (When the motor is cold at 20 degC (68 degF)
If this is not correct, it needs replacement...

Parthz8, thanks for your reply. I ended up finding a workshop manual and also found the section you are referring from.
Update on this, there is good continuity on the stepper motor coils and after fiddling with manual mode setting, I found the rear suspension is working.
The problem seems to be with the Automatic modes only.
I wonder is there some kind of calibration that was needed after getting my front fork seals done?

There is no calibration procedure as far as i know after front fork and rear shock re-assembly. You are facing issue with front forks or rear shocks? They are controlled independently by SCU. If fronts are having issue, i would say re-check assembly, coupler angles, fork oil. Rear are gas filled, they should operate unless some internal damage might have occurred..
