Running this fast on a narrow street circuit bordered by rock walls really requires a special talent that can put normal fears of crashing (and being seriously injured or dying) out of their mind. Hats off to those that can do it, I never could.

grant123, that's the key, isn't it? having ferry tix to be able to get over to the IoM...
@bogie, the ideal trip would be to fly over to the UK, ride some great roads there (especially up in Scotland), then go to the TT, watch the racing, and finally, partake in Mad Sunday!
evitzee, I'd have to respectfully disagree - we could all do it. whether we'd be competitive is another story. but, like anything else, you get used to the speed when you do it often enough. plus, we all ride on roads with similar hazards every time we go out. it's one of the reasons why I really like real roads racing.

regards, Tony I have just got back from Austria, absolutely amazing place and although i wasnt there on my bike (snowboarding trip) I defiantly want to return in summer with my bike. Having discussed it with a few people the same thing they all say is, "visit the Scottish highlands before you commit to Eastern Europe, its massively underrated!" So my plan is scotland this summer for sure!

rgr. I read all the UK bike mags - Performance Bikes, Fast Bikes, Bike, MCN, etc. they all rave about the Highlands and the roads there appear to be devoid of traffic (except near the cities, of course).
