Bike is a 2023. Got the LV Decat, bolted up perfectly to the stock headers and stock muffler. Decided to get their LV-10 GP style shorty muffler and bolt it onto the LV decat link pipe.
No dice. The ID of the muffler is 54mm(as advertised), but the end of the midpipe is 54.88mm.
I tried a little light grinding and sanding and it's just not going in there. Usually when something won't go in, you just spit on it... Not in this case. Tried beveling the edges to make it more "ramped" and oiled it up, and its just not happening.
The decat pipe is sold as working with the stock headers and muffler, and the LV muffler is sold as working with the stock CAT box... So how would these two parts from the same company not work together?
I am gonna swing by a muffler shop and see if they can "flair"... or is it flare? Whatever, maybe they can open up the muffler side with a pneumatic tool, to make the inlet on the muffler 1mm or so larger in diameter?
Anyone else got any idears, or had this happen and had to come up with a solution?

You need the Factory S muffler. Pretty sure they make that known when buying the link pipe. It is the setup I have currently.
Think this is ur best bet:

Didn't say anything when I ordered the muffler about it not working with their decat, but maybe I missed it. Gonna have to try and modify this one I guess... I took the mathematical approach. If A=B and B=C then A=C... lol Apparently, I chose... poorly....

It’s not real clear, but they have two different link pipes and at the bottom of the description it tells you which part numbers fit and don’t fit. They should tell you the name as well but they don’t. My link pipe was 8082 and it wouldn’t fit anything but the Factory S can. It was all plug and play with no mods needed.

Yeah, they need to make it more clear... Italians... lol I had my local muffler shop flair the inlet out about 1mm, and then it slipped right on. Sounds brilliant.
