What coolant you are using? That color looks odd... (may be Green coolant? which is fine). Any air in the system? Also check those clamps...

The hoses should not be under any pressure; the top hose connects to a tube that drops to near the bottom of the reservoir, and allows coolant from the engine to expand when it is hot and then suck back as it cools and contracts. If the joint is leaking coolant then it can also allow air to be sucked back into the engine when the system cools. I would pull the hose off and clean the barb end carefully to ensure there no grit in there that is preventing a seal, and also check the hose for any cracks or splits.

Thinking it's just a worn out hose. Haven't been replaced since 2017

Agree with terrys. A good cleaning and inspection is in order.

I’m running into a similar issue as op and have replaced the overflow tubes and cap. Is it the TOP elbow tube that runs to the bottom of the bike, or is it the bottom tube? Conversely, does the bottom (larger) tube connect to the radiator cap? Or do I have this bassackwards? I could have sworn I connected them in the correct order as oem but ol girl is pissing coolant out of the overflow at 150°F.

Try replacing the radiator cap. If it doesn't make a good seal the system will pump coolant out when it's hot but not suck it back in when it cools, so the expansion bottle fills and fills and then spills over, next thing you know the radiator is low and your bike will overheat. It's a cheap part to throw at it. My 2014 FZ09 rad cap did this a few years ago. Anyway it's an easy place to start.
