hi guys
I am doing a valve clearance on my mt10 and I found that all the intake valves are ok a feeler gauge of 0.10mm goes in very well
but on the exh side they are all tight a feeler gauge of 0.20mm does not go under all the shims and rocker arms they are all of them tight
a feeler gauge of 0.15mm go in in all of them
I check the bike because I hear a ticking noise but in my case, there are no loose valves but the opposite tight valves
what should I do? should I make them like the manual say
intake 0.09mm to 0.17mm exh 0.20mm to 0.26mm
is there somehow the bike makes a ticking noise because of this
and it doesn't make any ticking noise until it gets to its normal to tamp when the bike gets wormed it makes the ticking noise

tight is worse than loose, I would adjust them. How many miles or km ?

I am with apaxpro, adjust them. Try EX side to adjust to max and all the same.

It's my understanding that the finger followers are prone to making noise.

I just did mine with 14000 miles. I replaced 12 shims out of the 16 as they were tightened up somewhat. I set them in the middle of the spec and there is still some mechanical noise but about the same as before. I will warn you about the tensioner is a major pain but can be reset with some patience. As long as you have the manual you should be fine.

As long as you have the manual you should be fine. Managed to rewind my stock tensioner using a 4" C-Clamp held in a vise. The rotation of the clamp threads helped to turn the tensioner shaft too so it felt just right. The thread pitch on it must have been just perfect (got lucky) because it was really easy to turn the tensioner shaft and the clamp without any binding within the tensioner. Any other way of doing it felt like madness. After all that I'd installed an APE manual in it anyway LOL.
