Hi,
I have a suspension fault come up on my MT10SP, the first time it happened I simply went into the program and re set it, thus time I can't open the menu, the wheel still allows me to change what is already on the dash but won't let me into the main menu.
Would appriciate any help.

Would appriciate any help. Cheers Hello, On R1M (with similar style Menu), Usually if there is an error code present menu option cant be accessed. Scroll wheel may also feel sticky sometimes. Go over every fuse with a multimeter. Just checking with eyes sometime is not good since continuity is not there. Replacing a bad fuse might solve the problem. Otherwise you have to dig deeper to see what is causing the error. |

I looped out hard and the bike went down on the right side. I replaced the tail light, front wheel, and oil pump cover. The bike rides great again except I can't access the menu now. The menu button still works to scroll and press to reset trip, but menu hold does not access the menu. Also I cant set cruise control. The buttons still work to set the speed limit but cruise doesn't set. There are no error lights on the screen, abs, traction control and everything seem to be working fine. Nothing seems unplugged or broken.

I hooked up the OBD scanner and saw I had code C0520. I reset the codes and heard the relays click and it said complete but the code c0520 still remains. However the menu now works! I haven't started the bike or rode to see if it will go away or if the cruise works yet, my neighbors will shoot me at this hour. I also have a freeze frame P00D3 that I don't understand. It wasn't from the crash as it says 12,153 RPM 151mph and I wasn't near that speed.

Thanks for the reply and ideas. I saw that on the FJ forum too. I also read it might be the signals, and I replaced the OEM tail light with the TST integrated signal tail. The OEM isn't even available. I don't know though because I couldn't access the menu with the smashed OEM tail light still installed before I replaced it.
The only points of contact were the tail light that got smashed, the bracket that attaches it to the sub frame, the right foot peg, the right handle bar end cap, oil pump cover, and front wheel. No plastic or anything, don't think anything got pinched.
