I noticed some oil on the garage floor yesterday, so I took a close look at the bike and found the oil was leaking from both the gasket of the oil pan, the drain plug, and one bolt of the clutch cover. This bike was bought on Aug 20 and only have less than 800KM mileage. I'm really disappointed with Yamaha's quality now.

Sadly no companies products are perfect.

No bike manufacturer is flawless...whatever brand you get, you're going to have some sort of issue (and that goes for just about everything these days). Be grateful that it's a relatively small matter that's covered under warranty.

Oh wow - very interesting! I wonder if the dealer overfilled the engine oil? I'm pretty sure mine is ok, but I will definitely double-check. Keep us updated on the warranty claim - I hope the process is as painless as possible for you. EDIT: Thank you will for pointing out that dealers don't fill the oil

Will drop off the bike at dealer this afternoon. BTW, my friend’s 2022 MT10 SP is leaking too.

My 2017 FZ-10 bought in Nov 2016 is still tight after almost six years, no leaks or seeps at all. There have been a few instances of leaking oil pans, but they'll get fixed under warranty. No product is perfect.

The dealer believed the leakage was caused by overfill. They reduced the oil to normal level. No leakage found so far.
