Hello, I just bought a 2022 MT-10 SP and still getting used to the electronics and user input, when I turn the key to the on position, the warning sign comes on (triangle with exclamation inside). And it stays on until I start the engine, is this intended or do I need to get it looked at?

It’s probably like most vehicles with advanced electronics that is a pre check that the system is functioning and goes off upon start. This is only a best guess as not totally sure. I know on my 2020 my ABS stays on until started.

But both of those I know are normal, it's just the warning light I am confused about.

Let’s hope another 2022 owner chimes in.

Once it's started the system gets readings from all the sensors and once everything is OK the lights go out. Also your ABS light might stay on but once you start rolling it'll go out. This is for the same reason.

As per MT 10 SP Owners Manual, Aux system warning light (triangle with !) is comes ON with vehicle ON, but should turn OFF in few seconds if no engine issues are present. ABS goes OFF after 5km/h or higher, if ABS is working properly. Guess its good time to go through the manual provided with Motorcycle (Its really helpful)

I don't want to create a new thread just for that so I'll ask it here.
Anyone knows where is the OBD port on the 2022? I can't find it anywhere online and I don't know which one it is under the seat. There's a red cable/port near the fuel tank on the left side, I don't know if it's this one but if it is, then the port is different than the previous gen.
Does anyone know?

Hi semprenissart Yes, port on MT10 & MT10 SP 2022 onward is different, check Consumer Information page in User manual section 11-3. Its newer (Euro V) red 6 pin OBD2 bike plug. It connects to red cable/port near the fuel tank on the left side (near to battery). Now ECU is below IMU underneath pillion seat.
