I love Shoei helmets. Gt air, first and second gen. Got one from Ireland last year, even though I wasn’t supposed to. Ha.

Shoei RF-1200 for the track and Scorpion R710 for street.
Shoei Expensive, lighter, louder, fits well, visor is optically clear, but whistles like crazy so I had to stuff some putty in the rubber sealing gasket. Near the top they have some small air channel to help prevent fogging (I assume) but it whistles like mad. Visors aren't anti-fog coated and a pinlock layer needs to be installed. 3.5x the price of my Scorpion, but only 1.25x the helmet.
Scorpion, excellent value. Quieter, heavier, anti-fog coated visors, better airflow. No stand-out bad habits. Unfortunately discontinued model. Been running these helmets for I dunno 10-15 years so I have plenty of liners, spare visors. I've always liked Scorpion street gear. Well made, good seams, features, & materials, affordable. Kind of sucks they scaled back the product line.

Everything else I just deal with, and the whistle thing is interesting. I only have that issue with redirected air flow. On my naked bikes, nothing. On the tracer, I have noticed some stuff with one helmet, nothing with the other. Go figure.

Shoei GT air for commuting (older) and Sedici Strada II carbon (brand new) for track. The Sedici is stupid light and the padding super luxurious. And it's much less than a Shoei! I'm probably going to move from the Shoei to the Sedici on my commuting helmet as well if I can find a cool graphic in hi-viz yellow, once it's time to switch.

HJC RHPA 11 Pro Carbon, fits me perfectly, nice and light, flows lots of air which I need being in Fl. Very light, decent visor options and its made to fit comms. Only complaint is its a little loud (wind noise) but its worth it to get the air flow and keep my head cool.

This is a very light and excellent air flow helmet. Also the spoiler in the back helps with the neck fatigue ,

What Helmet you all use? (Comment with Type & Model) Any feedback will be awesome (you can choose upto 3 answers, if using more than one. Dont forget to mention best among several, if you use..) Don’t use any of those brands in the survey. The wife and I use Icon Airflite helmets have two each. Like them very much and have multiple face shield colors to fit our mood. We use Lexin B4FM headsets. We love the helmets. They have good aerodynamics and neck strain is minimal. We support Icon brand as they are based out of Oregon and support local companies when able. We just got these this week. Bought a blue shield for the Inky helmet. Add another Icon for my kid. 🤣

I've been using an ICON Airflight for some years now. You get a lot for a "cheap" helmet. It's kinda noisy and the rubber parts (seals and chin guard) will fail somewhat quickly. That being said they look good, are customizable, fairly comfortable and for the Airflight specific a nice big viewport.

Arai Quantic in Face Blue to match my SP. araihelmets.net.au/au/collection/detail/quanticGreat helmet but noisy. Just realised it might be due to the forehead vent that I thought was closed but was actually open according to the Arai site.
