I don’t have experience with either but it seems like the big advantage of the light tech ones is the “click” per adjustment to easily tell how many turns you’re doing. If the less expensive ones don’t have it I’m not sure how much they really make it easier. Do you only have to adjust one screw instead of two?

I'm looking at getting the Gilles ones soon. I've heard of people having problems with stripping out the axle side of the lightech ones. Also the drop down on the site you linked doesn't eve list the MT-10 at all

I was running a set of Yoshimura axle blocks before I lucked out on a set of clean used Lightechs. Nowhere as fancy as the latter style but they look better than stock and are machined more accurately. You can also flip them if you want to run a longer wheelbase for track use.

Went with LightTech. Had money burning a hole in my pocket last winter and wanted some garage time.
Like the look of the Yoshi’s.

I prefer the look of adjusters that don’t hang out past the swingarm. Gilles tooling markets their TCA adjusters under their YZF-R1 lineup. I stripped the coating off to make them look more like the stock axel blocks. Great product and definitely something different. I’ve never seen them on another bike, not even on an R1. Maybe they’re just ugly and I’m the only one who can’t see that. Lol I wanted the Gilles ones (with the lifter hooks) but they only list them for the R1. I emailed them to ask if they'd fit the MT and was told no due to some minor difference I couldn't understand through translation lol. Glad to see they do indeed fit right on though! Also what rearsets are those?

How were yours sold?

Do you still need to block the chain or shove the wheel forward before tightening the axle nut with the lightech adjusters? Unless I'm looking at this wrong it looks like the axle hole is held stationary by the adjuster.

With Lightech chain adjuster proper installed on both sided, before tightening the axle nut with stock axle it is recommended to wedge a wrench in between sprocket and chain just to force the axle into forward most position. Also if you are using a Pit Bull rear stand, tire wedge which fits into that is handy to do work without remove the wheel. I reached out to Lightech Italy and they instructed: For the tightening torque you must strictly follow the instruction that Lightech put inside the box. For MT 10, manufacturer specifies rear wheel axle nut Torque is 190 N-m but Lightech specify only 100 N-m!
