It was either this or the Corbin, but upon research i kept finding the Corbin was better suited for heavier folks, & at a buck 60 year round the plushness and decent firmness of the Sargent fit the bill better for me and my passenger. It raises the seat height and eases the tension on the knees for rider and passenger also even more than the stock seat plus has a nice cupping to your butt the more you sit back.
They use your stock seat when you send it in and are pretty good at returning it fast. Mine came back in 9 days with the parts for the old stock seat.
The fit and finish is superb but did i feel like the $440 i paid for it was fully justified? Not really. Especially since they reuse your seat which is good cause it fits like its supposed to with no excessive movement like i hear some Corbin seats have but isnt that like already half of the $400? The foam is superb with a lot of owners of Sargent seats have decade old seats with no rotting, tears, or other quality issues besides fitment, given you take care of it.
Thats the biggest complaint so far, plus i figured since this is my long term bike i get what i really want especially since those OEM comfort seats are hard to come by. Also it blends with the sleekness of the bike and is not a bulging half sofa sticking out of the back frame like some seats.
Dont mean to bash other seats since i know they are great aswell but this is why i chose this one and would give it a 10/10 if didnt feel slightly robbed.

This seat does look really nice but WOW that price!!!
It would be interesting to compare this seat side by side with my seat concepts since they both use the stock seat pan.
Its nice they put it together for you as when I did my seat concepts at home I was not happy with how it looked. I found a local upholster shop to make my seat concepts looks factory (like yours) for $20 though.

I agree with fzizzlemyshizzle10 review with the Sargent seat! I added the heated seat with the DTX cover and have no regrets with my purchase and in my opinion the cost is worth it. I also have the Yamaha comfort seat and now that seat is in the closet collecting dust.

I've had a comfort seat, seat concepts, (corbin on another bike- ouch!) and now have had a Sargent for 2 years. Sargent is light years ahead of the rest. All day comfortable.
