They're both pretty simple. You did get a stator cover gasket right?
For the shifter it can be in any gear, doesn't matter as the lever always goes to a neutral position.

Stator can be a bit of a pain since it's magnetized so trying to get it back together while lining up everything and making sure the seal is in place was a bit challenging for me on a different bike but I was able to do it myself.
I did not have to change my oil on thet bike but we had at least one member on here report a significant amount of oil loß when doing the stator. So I'm not sure since I haven't messed with the FZ10 stator. Just be prepared for some oil loss if you do it.

Yes the gasket is part of the order parts, & thank you for that i couldnt find a shift pedal by itself so i ordered the whole assembly for $70 which kinda sucks but i got to get it back on the road soon. Most of the oil came out, im sure the engine shut off shortly after it tipped over but anything i should be concerned with as far as the frame and engine? Broken stator case bits inside the engine?

Copy that i was able to find a diy video on the replacing the stator cover and it seems straight forward but i wont know til i begin replacing it. And most of my oil spilled out on the street so its a got about a quart in the sump, im concerned with fragments from the stator case inside my engine or frame issues but those frame sliders saved me about $500 dollars worth of repairs. I also hope my engine didnt run for too long after experiencing severe oil loss while it was on its side. Thank you for your feedback!
