Whats the concensus (if there is 1) on which link pipe to buy? $600+ Akra seems a bit much. Read about some fitment issues with the Dan moto? How bout Leo V? Plan to run the stock muffler

Dan moto is what I have. The fitment was off where it bolts to the frame in the middle. Once I got it on the pipe is just fine and it was cheap too.
I wanted to get the Leo V but they were always sold out everywhere.
Piss on the overpriced Akra, all you are paying for is mostly name and sponsorships.

No issues fitting the Leovince to my MT; everything lines up nicely.

With the akrapovic you are paying for a proper fitting pipe that is titanium. I would rather pay more for a quality part than $300 for a stainless steel pipe that kinda fits and doesn't follow the bikes under body lines right.

I understand some of what you are saying but its not like the Dan Moto is bad. The welds are good and it follows the lines of the bike great. Done a whole season of track days, 2 800 mile trips on it, and never had to make a single adjustment. Plus I saved $600 to put into other parts like: chain and sprockets, levers, seat, tank grips, etc...

Everyone has different opinions on mods. The akra pipe can be had for 550 and the old dan moto pipes were going for about 200 so really you're saving 350. Still a good chunk of change. Im a sucker for titanium and carbon fiber bits so maybe thats why i went for it LOL.

I got the hindle full system with the carbon/carbon can and it's great www.sportbiketrackgear.com/hindle-yamaha-fz-10-2017-evolution-3-4-exhaust-system/Definitely thinking about finding a set of Ti R1 headers though and then getting the Akra link pipe. Might be better off just getting the full Ti Graves system instead lol www.gravesport.com/products/graves-motorsports-yamaha-fz10-mt-10-full-titanium-exhaust.html

I wanted the purple of the Titanium so I went Akrapovic. I am shopping for an R1M ti Header! Love the purple! If you want to save $ check out Blackwidow exhaust in the UK! Super nice and cheap.

I paid $350 for my r1 header on ebay. I sanded it with 320 grit sand paper and it colored nice. Im pulling it and going to sand it it in steps down to 2000 and polish it now.

Leo-Vince has my vote for decat delete. You can use your stock can or any other slip on.
