Hey guys, this is the first time I have ran with a de-cated exhaust on a bike and when I got my Austin racing exhaust I immediately shipped my ECU off to 2wheeldynoworks and had them flash it, I got it back and went for a ride and every time I come back my cloths have a strong gas smell. Bike seems to be running strong and no gas leaks that I can see so I am just curious if the bike may have a bad flash or if that's just what a de-cat bike smells like after a hard ride?
I have not had a chance to check gas mileage yet as its winter and cant get a long enough ride in.
Update#1
I spoke to Nate at 2wheeldynoworks and he says this is normal when the deceleration fuel cut is disabled, so when spring time comes and I can put some more miles on the bike I will see.

My bike is catless running a 2wdw tune and never has a strong gas smell even on track days.
Your bike seems like it's running really rich it might be a bad flash.

My clothes smell from other cars exhaust, not from my catless bike. Hard for exhaust gases to move forward from the exhaust to your clothes unless sitting still for an extended period of time.

Thanks for the info My clothes smell from other cars exhaust, not from my catless bike. Hard for exhaust gases to move forward from the exhaust to your clothes unless sitting still for an extended period of time. I think it may be when I am sitting idle at a light or something cuz I was not around anyone that sounded like they were not running any cats.

This is your first catless bike. What you are describing sounds normal. You are smelling unfiltered emissions.

This is your first catless bike. What you are describing sounds normal. You are smelling unfiltered emissions. I have had many catless cars and they smell different, the smell I am smelling is almost like I splashed gas on my cloths after every ride now (of course I dont actually do that if thats what your thinking).
