Looks to be more street/track in dry warm conditions type tire.

Which is good for me cause I never go out knowing it will rain. LOL
I might try a set next summer but then again my GF works for a tire distributor so I only pay cost. LOL

That's a funky looking tire. I'm sure there are actually going to be people who will not buy this tire because it looks ugly.

Can't wait for some real world review of this tire, but unfortunately for me i don't think it would be a good fit for me as it would be "wasted away" commuting around.

Haha that's how I always feel when I'm choosing tires. I want to get the sticky tires like Dunlop Q3 or Bridgestone RS10 but my riding is 70% commuting and 30% spirited riding + twisties so I would just chew through these types of rubber before I got money's worth.

Anyone personally try these yet? I'm considering getting them next week.

I don't plan to ride in wet conditions, but if I get caught in the rain I want to make sure the tire would grip. **Edit: Oh, and tread-life of course...

I would recommend Michelin Pilot Power 3 if you care about the mileage. Great in cold pavement. Still grips while the tires are cold. Very capable in the rain and you get pretty good mileage out of it given that you keep it at higher tire pressures. It definitely won't be as sticky as the Power RS because that tire competes with Q3 and RS10 but its definitely fast enough for the street.
