I'm picking up my rear today just the GT good deal also mounted I bring it in loose. I'm going on a ride this weekend crossing my fingers that I still get good performance even though it's a touring tire I will for sure comment on my impressions after a least on the rear going to wait on the front until the its ready for a change .
So ill be waiting to see how your feeling on the set and also that they are the gt2s .

I've heard good things about them. One of the best riders I've ever ridden with swore by them. Although he was a true weekend warrior type so the rate he was going through tires, he needed something a bit more durable than the sportier Dunlops and Bridgestones.

So I just got back from a good time with buddy's breaking in the new tire so far I really like it no slippage at all plenty of grip accept when I first started to break in this morning 56deg but it warmed up tire was great high speed turns in borego springs it was a perfect day. Can't wait to wear out the front so I have a set.
I am a little cautious on how far to push it knowing it's a sport touring tire and will need some time to get used to it I was almost to the edge and with full power out wheelie no issues . So if I can twice the distance as with the bridge or mich then I might have found my new favorite tire.
I wonder if will has the same to say with his set.

I have a set of Bridgestone T32's waiting for my MT-10 at the shop, got the pair for $330. Have to wait until the 23rd to get them installed because the shop is so busy. I think for most street riders a sport touring tire is all you need.

Well I got them swapped yesterday and took a little ride. First thing I noticed is that these tires are way taller than the OE ones. The bike sits higher and leans on the stand farther. It's not just the fact that there's tread in the middle either, the bike never sat that high when new lol. They're the same aspect ratio so they SHOULD be similar height wise. It also turns in SUPER easy now since the tires are actually round. Put about 10 miles on them on some back roads yesterday to scrub them in and then another 18 on my way to work this morning. So far so good.

I did not notice the height difference until now after you noticed it. I'm running michelin front now im thinking I should get the matched front now and throw away another half used front . Now the tire just looks bigger to me on the stand lol.
So far I'm not disappointed with the rear at all but in time will tell. Looking forward to your review when you put some miles on them.
