Installed extreme creations turbo kit for the FZ/MT-10 and enjoying every minute of it. Fuel economy at cruising speed went up from 32-34mpg to 41-43mpg though that was not the intended purpose ๐. Install went good took 18hrs though was taking my sweet time. Canโt think of a better accessory or mod that was more worth the money.
Had it on dyno tho kept getting interference on tac signal did get rough numbers over the 8 runs. 215hp@11.4K rpm and 105tq at 9.9K rpm boost starts at 6-7K rpm @ 7psi. Though power without boost below is up 10-15tq
I would add photos but do not see how to.

Would love to see detailed pictures of the motorcycle and installed kit.... any major issues during installation? How is the performance? Does it decline engine life? Apologies for the long response time, moved shortly after got it installed and got some bad gas and burnt down cylinders. on the flip side engine is now rebuilt again with factory parts as lead times were a year plus on stronger internals though not needed. Detail of how it burn down The bad gas would have been fine had it not been for having only fuel increased but the advance time from pre turbo tune was pushing it to limit sub forced induction. As a result after I had engine rebuilt I had it taken to MC dyno Tech in Hugo MN to be complete retune on ecu for time advance and fuel. Result same problem with bad tac signal so no Torque number and horse power was 188. he said it is a beyond safe on the tune as I wanted because I daily this cycle. will follow up later when the local dyno shop has time and weather is warmer. to compare from stock dyno sheet to new build dyno sheet on the same dyno ( if most dont know no 2 dynos will get the same result ). think the interference on tac signal is from the higher volume fuel pump ( I can no longer hear the annoying injector tick at low speed ) will post photos in afternoon after sun comes up time pending.

how's the bike after you got it all dialed in after the rebuild? The short it feels a little lacking to me but would feel uncomfortably fast to someone who though stock was scary or adrenaline rush to have the front tire lift at 80mph at the 2-3 shift. As even currently wide open throttle cant be used until over 120mph in 4th and you half to ease into it or it will lift with the only way to get it to come back down is to go back to 1/8th throttle to get boost to drop and use a little rear brake to set it down gently while easing back into throttle as the turbo is still spooled. The Long runs as expected little on hot side if you get stuck at a light for more than 2 min or anything in town at speeds around 25mph not that it did not run hot from the factory like that but the drop temp is about 5-10 degrees fahrenheit higher and heats back up quicker, to be expected though. Have not had a lot of set time this year due to move and such am wishing it was back up to the 215hp mark. currently dyno at 188hp on 3 pull average though still wicked over stock it is not the 215hp feel that I needed to use extreme caution on using wide open throttle. prior to installing I swapped sprockets to 17 front and 38 rear to gear it down to make longer time in gear or less snappy to take advantage of time at boost in gear but get use to it without the extra power. when it was at the 215hp it was like I never changed the ratio, rather just added that much more power and it would snap the front tire off the ground at 140mph in 4th from shift in 3rd to 4th, like how stock 1st to 2nd shift is if you try to use full throttle. Now with 188hp it will bring it off the ground in 4th still if every thing is right or trying to by using aggressive shifting or smacking wide open or stand still speed with hard wide open throttle hit like it did stock in 3rd. The Result I have reached out to Extreme Creations and got larger injectors and there swing arm extenders and brake line. over winter I will install mentioned parts swap to E85 and reach the goal of having it pull like it did stock in 2nd but in 5th or ill crack the engine open again and keep going till it pulls like a 1500hp street car 215hp+ and 100lbft of tq or bust. side note think the speed limiter got re activated as it cuts throttle back at 150 and wont let ya go over 160ish it's like hitting a brick wall of pull pull pull and it let's go

with having he week off I got a little spare time and ran through a tank of fuel ( 91 octane ) at 55-65mph in 6th just cruising it gets around 35mpg according to the eco mpg reading, running from 3,400rpm to 3,800rpm witch is about what it got stock though also way below the turbo spool rpm. On the interstate with cruise at 78mph getting 48-52 mpg, all though around 4,800 RPM and at the start of the turbine spool range I feel this is a bit high. as I have a power commander 5 and auto tune with wide band o2 sensor Ill check later today to see if it was leaning out in the data log. was following the gal on her cruiser most of the day and she got semi lost on big city back streets and had to pull over and shut off the cycle as drop temp after 15 min of nothing over 25mph was 205 with spike temps of 230. 15 min of sitting in shade with key on for 60 second start cycle let idle for 40 seconds and re key to keep fans running and oil scavenge pump pulling oil through turbo to keep it some what cool. Side note come winter I will also be installing a intake air temp sensor to be logged to the power commander 5 as I'm wondering if this is where all the excess heat is from if so then possible air to water intercooler / radiator and or different turbo that does not have a cracked water jacket and another small radiator. End goal still 215hp+ and 100 lb/ft of tq and able to daily in traffic

I'd consider maybe getting small, like 2"-3" swingarm extensions if it was me. This bike already has a 2" shorter wheelbase than an R1 and now you're making R1 power and more than R1 torque.

It's nowhere near 2". R1 wheelbase 06-current is 1415mm (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamaha_YZF-R1). MT-10 is 1400 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamaha_MT-10). That's 15mm or about 0.6". Probably only due to the MT having 2 extra teeth on the rear sprocket that pull the axle slightly forward with the same chain size.

Now that winter has arrived and 2 wheel season is over it's time to tare the toy down and put larger injectors into it and add the Extreme Creations extended swing arm on. Saw the post about the wheel base and I'm down to 38 tooth sprocket in rear. Never really though about it changing wheel base so got the tape out and on center of contact patch looks as though at current I'm 1394mm so not much off for 5 teeth less. did not get a video of me out on the cycle but as just got done putting insulation in garage took short video of it running with a few revs. Currently there is no exhaust it's just the slash cut right from Extreme creations though I think ill put the Coffman shorty back on it just to take the crisp out of it. will take some more pictures as I tare down to put new injectors in and raise fuel rail. Enjoy the Video
