Hello FZ-10 forum. My name is Jeff and I currently live in Savannah, Georgia. I bought a 2017 FZ-10 yesterday and pick it up this afternoon. The first FZ-10 for the local dealer. We're all stoked about it. They want to see it, and I'm freaking out having to wait (it was in the warehouse at the local seaport.)
I've been riding for 40 years. While living in Japan from 2000-2008, I had the original MT bike. The MT-01. Sadly it met its demise when a Tokyo city bus pulled out in front of me. I've said it many times, it was the best made and best all around bike I ever had. When I got back stateside and couldn't buy another, I jumped around a bit with a Yamaha WR250X, a HD Street Bob, a Sportster, a Softail Slim (which I still have), and a BMW R1200GSW which I traded for the FZ-10.
I was looking for a street fighter or large Super Moto when I bought the BMW instead. When I saw the FZ and saw its MT heritage, I knew it was for me. I've read every review and watched every video I could find.
Super excited and happy to see a well populated forum too.

Thanks guys! I'm super stoked. 1 hour was all I could get this evening; holiday and all. For the better I suppose. There were Georgia State Troopers everywhere. Those guys don't mess around. Total respect for what they do. The bike seems all that's it's hyped up to be. I'll know more after a few days.

Just click that little button "add image to post", choose pics from your computer and then click upload. It dumps the pic code into your post.

Welcome aboard. You'll love the bike and yes the GA troopers suck in your area on 95.
