Just picked up a 2021 Black MT10. Been riding for 30+ years and this is my first bike in a long time that isn't a pure sport bike.
Glad to be here.

Welcome aboard. The MT-10 may not be a pure sport bike, but it's just as bonkers. Enjoy your new ride, I'm loving my 2019 leftover I bought 3 months ago.

Congrats and I hope you like it as much as I do mine. Started riding in 92. Had a bunch of sportbikes as well as 2 F6B's and 2 Goldwings.

You are going to love this bike!
IMO its the perfect goldilocks.
I went from sportbikes to harleys and back to sportbikes never finding the perfect compromise until this bike.
Comfy to tour on but bonkers and more than capable of having fun at the track.

I've been a multiple bike owner recently; a 2009 Honda ST1300 for long distance, 1997 VTR1000F for short and fun, and a 99 VFR800F for the V4 sounds. I got rid of all of those and bought the MT. It is nearly as comfy as the ST, as rorty as the VTR and makes great V4-ish sounds like the VFR. Plus it is lighter, handles great and has SO much more power...The small tank is a slight bugbear, but the fuel consumption for me at least is the same or better than all of those others.
