Looking for a painless way to lower the bars and move them forward. I've seen several posts here about this subject and one with the same link. Question is, has anyone installed this exactly part? tstindustries.com/gilles-tooling-adjustable-bar-risers-yamaha-fz-10-mt-10-2016.htmlAnd if so, was it a solution to accomplish both lowering and moving forward the bars? Operationfz's post here fz10.org/thread/617/rizoma-risers-aggressive-riding-position would be a perfect solution, but it isn't idiot proof and have a feeling I'd screw it up (hole drilling, etc.). All that said, this Gilles part might be a better solution. Has anyone thrown the cash at this solution? On another note, I'm only 5' 10" and don't have broad shoulders that a larger person would have. The stock bars are also too wide and steering input is too sensitive.

I just got a set from TST. Sadly they were damaged and TST no longer deals with Gilles. They offered a return and full refund or I keep them and they'll refund me $80. As it was one of the top red clamps that was pretty well nicked up I just emailed them back and said I'd return them.
Looking at finding them somewhere else, maybe pick up a set of the Gilles black bars to go with them

If it isn't a horror show, perhaps I'd contact them after you send them back. Thanks!

If the red part wasn't dinged up would have just taken the $80 but that piece is front and center lol

Pretty bad, but not a total horror show. After your assessment of the parts, do they appear they'll accomplish what they're supposed to? Is there anything cheesy about them? Have you already sent them back? Sorry for all of the questions and thank you for the pic!

Have you already sent them back? Sorry for all of the questions and thank you for the pic! No worries! Functionally yes they'll work just fine. Quality is top notch - typical for Gilles. I sent them back Friday, they should be back to TST tomorrow according to USPS. The box was still sealed but pretty banged up. Looks like it had been kicking around their warehouse for some time. Each part was wrapped in thin foam inside the box and it was packed well, I think it was just from whatever drop or fall or whatever happened to the packaging caused the parts inside to bang together. You might be able to email them and explain our chat and see if they'll sell them to you at a discount. I'd imagine they'd just throw them away or something at this point.
