Be careful when washing you Motorcycle....i would recommend to cover the Horn opening. Water will sip inside and could damage the seal, plate. Its also pain to dry or clean it after...

Hello, I got a similar horn, installed then had a concern that it would hit the fender on a large bump. Do you think the travel on your forks would be enough to bottom out the horn?

I may modify the bracket or add the one that came with it and try to get it more up and away.

I've been down this road. The stock horn is "high" tone. You simply switched it to "low" tone by replacing it with the aftermarket unit. It's not really louder just different tone. Yes i will agree the low tone sounds more manly and cool but the Japs put the high tone on stock because it's easier to hear on the road in traffic. Ideally you would want to install both a high and low tone set and it will sound like a car horn. They work in unison and it's very loud. But that will require wiring in a relay.
