Hey just like the title says, I have been looking at the bikes for quite awhile now and it’s time the pull the trigger. I’m located in Daytona Beach Florida. I am a firefighter in the area and I’m at the point where I can get one. My number is (386) 451-5966.

Not really looking to buy brand new. Personally I’ve always bought used. You can usually find a much cheaper bike with more add-ons that way. Thanks though!

I figured but new were the only ones I could find in your area lol.
You might have to find one farther and drive to get it or have it shipped.

The 10 is a great bike 9 times out of 10 you will get a great deal buying used one with low miles well cared for with extras that you will not have to pony up for later. I would research this forum and educate you're self on the good and bad things as much as you can. Recently a member had a bad experience with buying used .
I bought mine used from a dealer and saved on new to put towards the extras that wanted so far its worked out great for myself. I dont want to piss any one off on here but I have a few firefighter buddies or just buddies that I would do the same solid for.
I would not buy a bike with a cat delete that has not been flashed or mapped to match the exhaust swap thats number one. Number two is check the chain and sprocket a well taken care of bike will always look new and lubed just opinion. Anyone who will not agree with me on that feel free to chime in or add to what I'm saying.

I totally agree, I appreciate the advice I have been doing a ton of research on the MT/Fz10 and this is not even close to my first bike. I appreciate any information though. Thank you again.

It'll run worse than it did stock with the cat gone but it won't physically hurt the bike. I put 1400 miles on mine before I got the ECU flashed and have/had zero problems.

1400 probably not long enough to create a problem. Plus not all 10 are 50 state legal . Every tuner I've spoken to about this subject on all motors say the same thing especially in ca they already are lean to start . If you give them more air flow means more lean and lean means heat and piston swell.
Not everyone will subscribe to this but just my past tunning experience with 2 strokes and four strokes bikes and water craft I believe it. Only my rzr my super charged seadoo boat and raptor all of them stock burn the way they should with spark plug tan burn not white . White to me is lean light tan cardboard color as always been good .
I'll be curious how my plugs look when it comes time to change them I know my fueling is just about perfect. Will I'm not trying to change your mind Im just given my 2 cents.

Idk if you’re still looking but I just ordered a new MT-10 and will be selling my ‘19 Ice Fluo once it arrives—I’m told February but I’m guessing we’re realistically still 6 months out. Lmk!
