Not to sound like a "know it all" but A-mode is insane mode standard-mode is standard(obviously) and B-mode is the reduced throttle response or as I like to call it "bad weather mode" maybe they changed it on the fz-10 but thats the settings on my fz-09

I couldn't tell you for certain since I don't yet own a FZ-10, but from all of the reviews I have seen they all say the same thing, with one exception.

It is indeed different on the -09 and -10. The new model MT-10SP changed it to settings 1,2 and 3. According to a ride review I read, 1 is for track, 2 is for cruising and 3 is for rain. They also remapped it so 1 is smoother and less abrupt from off throttle to full throttle. It would be nice if Yamaha offered the new SP map to standard -10 owners.
