I want to remove the tank from my bike for reasons. My question is, will the gap between the metal and plastic part of the tank be forever warped? As it is I hate the gap and I wouldn't want to make it any bigger. Can anyone speak from experience on this? if you removed your tank completely, did the gap become larger when it was reassempled?

I took mine off when I had itw wrapped and nothing changed. Everything has its place to mount to so nothing should change on reassembly.

I was wondering what year they offered it in red. It looks killer. How does the wrap look up close? How do they hold up? How much does it cost? Can they do images like you see on commercial vehicles?

Yea it started life as the raven black lol. Up close it's got some blemishes but only because the matte finish is such a PITA to wrap apparently and because of all the small contours and details. He said the wrap stick perfect to glossy surfaces. He had to fight with it and use a ton of adhesion promoter to get it to stick. Overall it looks great. It was $500 only because of how much of a PITA it was. If it was glossy paint it would have been about half that. It should hold up for a few years anyways, but it depends on if any of the edges start lifting or not. They should be able to do any kind of graphics, I've seen some 10's wrapped in interesting graphics. There's also companies that make graphics kits that are more akin to dirt bike graphics - THICK material that goes on the plastic and doesn't wrap around like a wrap does. www.etsy.com/listing/865580513/graphic-kit-for-yamaha-mt-10-mt10www.kutvek-amerika.com/en-us/street-bike/yamaha/mt-10.html
