Is there any trade secrets for removing the top front bush of the shock linkage? I know it can push out only one way and I can get a screw driver on the tiny lip available but no joy pushing it out. I've tried drenching it in penetrative fluid, tried heat on it to, but it just won't budge. Who ever came up with that design needs shooting.

Can you post a picture so we can see exactly which you are talking about. I haven't had mine apart since last year but I almost destroyed one of the bushings that looks like it should slide out in both directions but in fact only goes in 1 direction. I did all of the things you refer too. Then I discovered that I stuck a pick inside and pulled and it easily slide out in the opposite direction. Not sure if your stuck on the same part but it sounds similar.

I can't see how to post pics on here ? But yeah that sounds like it. It would be part no.42 on that parts diagram. Only can come out on the left, as you sit on the bike. Only a tiny lip to get anything on from the right hand side but just won't budge. I'll have to make some form of punch up at work and try that I'd say.

Finally got it out. After trying everything I ended up getting a 12 mm bar of titanium and grinding it done till it went snug in the bushing hole ,tapped it in with a mallet then clamped a vice grip on that and twisted it out. It took some force to twist out . Anyhow all done now ,new linkage in with plenty of grease !
