Things Ive done recently that I did not want to search back and drag 3 plus years of post . I added a Helmet lock mount under the passenger peg bolts I removed the passenger pegs its a perfect add on to bike. I added on a cleanable oil filter its a quality unit have heard good things about them and will see how well it works when I clean it. I added a G2 throttle tamer what a difference its made front tire not as light felt like a loss in power perfect add with a tune I started to use the other modes now and could not before perfect add on.. Ive been messing around with the stock can to get some noise out of it, so I filled the holes in the baffle and I now have the sound Ive been looking for not loud at idle but as soon as you give it some beans I can now hear its about perfect level more then stock but less then the delkevic I had on before I would say its around the 100 dbs wich is perfect for me and at no cost. At least it will hold me over until I actually hear another in person that I like more..
Quick list of upgrades... tail tidy, radiator guards,CRG RC2 lever love them, CRG LS 3" bar ends, trickle charge plug, radar detector adaptiv saved me 2 ticket since installed on bike highly recommended,OES frame and axle sliders, tech spec tank grips, Grip puppies, pilot power 2CT love them so far, waiting on my wheel stickers I may up grade my brake lines a pads in the near future I like to spend it on things I can use not just for cosmetic. I ve spent some money on her the past 1500 miles since picked her up just saying..

That is a good list of mods. Post up some pics!
I wanted a little more noise from my exhaust too so I took the muffler off and just put a black powder coated tip on. Sound is absolutely perfect!

I wish I new how , I can barely post comments this site is the hardest to navigate that I'm in. How much is that that would be somthing to save for lines pads master cylinder. I think these brakes are great but I wouldn't know what good brakes are not a lot of sport bike experience, I had brembo on my 950sm .

The radial m/c fixes that. And if you're doing lines already anyways you might as well. braided lines also make a bit of a difference

I'm saving now for a seat or I'll just keep wearing bicycle padded shorts that have been getting me by so far. They just feel like I have a load under my riding jeans ,my wife falls on the floor dying when she see me putting them on I guess I look pretty funny in them they might be a little big.

I did the Seat Concepts kit to mine this past winter and holy crap what a difference. It's so much better.

I Checked it out reasonable price for the a seat it sounds like a kit. Did it make a big difference? how much more run time over stock? . I'm a weekend rider 150 plus miles rides so After 30 min or so I'm standing up without my new favorite padded shorts. I also would need the seat strap to balance my bike is always on the rear axle stand on and off .
Have you seen the top sellerie seat also seems like a decent seat with lots of options but cost a lot more .

This is a kit and you do lose the strap but I haven't had any issues getting mine on/off a rear stand without it. As far as comfort goes I haven't been for any long rides yet but just on my 30-45 minute commute to/from work daily it's a huge improvement. No more slope into the tank, much more comfortable. I've see a few others but didn't feel like shelling out $$ for an entire seat. A local place did the swap for me for $80 and it came out mint

I installed EBC pads and in shock as to how much they improved braking. A simple cheap upgrade that makes a big difference.

I checked out the video on the install seems pretty straight forward. Now I'm thinking about doing that upgrade but is it that much better then just doing pads? I save a little then prioritize the next thing I would like to get after the boss business manager accountant ok wife let's me so if I explain it's a safety thing helps.
My question is I just bought CRG levers so can I still use the new levers I just bought or what and the adapter .
The one thing I did not like is it seems like the resivor sticks up a lot like a sour thumb pretty much where my radar detector sits wich I can move . Can I just replace the master but with a bigger bore and get the same effect?
