I'm not 100% sure that is the Yamaha name for the part, but here is what my daughter broke getting on to ride with me this afternoon: This is a quick JBWeld for now and we can sand and paint it, but I'd like to fix it right. Anybody know where to get a replacement on the cheap side? Also, what color do I need to make sure to get? Seems before 2018 they were darker or even two-tone maybe? This one is solid "ice fluo" scheme ice gray I guess. I see some for sale on ebay for $60 but I think they are the darker earlier color. I wonder how that would look. I'd rather keep it gray.

The part number for that is COVER, SIDE 2, Part #: B67-21721-00-P5. The P5 I believe refers to the paint code, but I am new to Yamahas, so you need to work that one out.

Originally the part was listed as in stock at Partzilla, then two weeks and now got a notice it's 2 months. I love how they already charged me, though. So I need to do something better in the short term.
I already broke off my JB Weld hack job at gluing it. Right now it is a scratch hazard. I would be ok removing it for a couple months or maybe with it off I can do a good job of gluing it. But I am not sure how to remove it without breaking the tabs. I certainly don't want to damage the part it mounts to and have to get another piece of the assembly.
Anybody have any tricks for removing this piece?

Next time ask if anyone has one to sell on the cheap? I switched mine out for black, so I've got both just sitting around, along with more ice fluo parts. I could've sold it for $20 or so, including shipping. Just an idea...

Realistically, Partzilla is an excellent company. The MT 10 is not a big selling model and there's a lot of colors for all these multi year bikes. I dropped my bike last winter and had to do levers, bar end, turn signal, side cover, tank scoop, outer case and a few other parts. They weren't all in stock and I wasn't surprised. They gave me continual updates on expected ship date and updated every time. In every case they exceded the promised delivery date. I'm very impressed with this company. I can't tell you how many motorcycle and non motorcycle companies not only didn't provide tracking or accurate updates, but actually shipped after the promised delivery date. I have also found them to consistently be the best OEM prices. I try to support my local dealer but they consistently forget to even place the order and then lie about Yamaha.

All fixed, no thanks to Partzilla. Many thanks to fzsea for helping me out. Going to be switching mine out out some carbon fiber ones. How was the removal and install?
