What are you using? Can you post a picture. How do you like it?
Im looking for a tail bag that strap mounts under seat and fits the tail without looking too big.
Suggestions?
I even consider small saddle bags if the mount without the rear pegs and don't sag.
Thanks in advance.

Motorcycle superstore has motocentric products on a huge sale, including one of their tail bags. worth checking out at the price. link Tailbag is on page two but check out the low prices on all of this stuff.

The link above I posted, on page two is a damn nice rear bag on closeout for $43.00. A bunch of fz07 members bought it and it's a nice bag.

Kriega bags are not cheap, but I think it worth looking into them if you can afford them. There are kinda modular, so you can start with one and add to it if you need more space. I don't own them, but I think I would go for them if I ever go with a tail bag.

But i got a question for you...Do you pass both mounting straps under the tail section(hard to see on the picture),or one of them is under the seat? The real question i guess is,do you have to remove the seat to remove the bag off the bike?

You could just pass it under the tail but this holds it more secure. It is not under the seat and you do not need to remove it to remove the bag.

It is under that plastic fairing but that was the easiest way to route the strap without putting extra stress on the cheap plastic useless fairings.

I'm using the Ogio tailbag. Pulled it off my FZ1. It's expandable $90. *edit* four adjustable straps, with clips. Easily off in less than ten seconds.

I am looking into a nice tail bag, main concern are scratches from the straps. The Motocentric seems nice, but the bungees concern me. I looked at their saddle bags as well, but many reviews commented on poor QA standards, so I may just spring for nicer ones from another brand. Recently went on a 550+ mi trip with a full back pack, and it killed me due to it's design and weight. Looking to start off with just getting things off my back for daily commuting to the office.

Pulled the trigger on the Nelson Riggs 1060 ST. I'll post up mounting and angles photos when it comes in.
