SOLD - Looking to sell my leo vince decat. Put it on my bike, started it up, rode around the neighborhood, and decided decatting the bike was just a bit too loud for the type of riding I do. Swapped the original cat back in right after. $150 + buyer pays shipping. Located in Southern NH.   |

Man I wanted to go with that mid pipe and stock can , I bought a bike with a Delkevic mid delete and 8in can not sure if its been flashed or not and its just a little to loud for me mostly at lower speed seems to drone around 35 to 50 mph after that the wind or whatever just drowned out the noise. From the site they say with the set up I have its from 104 to 106 DB not sure how they measure it but I know I want less then that. I also dont want local to hear me coming waiting for me so do you know what the db is with the leo and I assume your stock can. I might be putting all the stock parts back on maybe try and mate the delkevic can to the stock cat it sucks cause it sounds so good . Are you going back to stock and any idea what a flash to stock can gain or just do all the things a flash does this not really wanting more power right now but I did just buy it...

Unfortunately I dont have the proper equipment to measure the DB accurately. While riding at a constant speed there wasn't really much of a drone, and the noise actually wasn't too bad. However as soon as you get on the throttle everyone within a half mile radius will hear you coming. If you want a good sound level comparison put the stock cat back on without a muffler. The volume is very similar to the midpipe with a stock muffler, however the midpipe had a deeper tone. If you still think stock cat and no muffler is too loud than check out SC Projects SC1 slip on, seems to be the best volume and tone if you want just a bit more noise than stock. |

Thank you for your help , not sure what I'm going to do power seems great don't think it's been flashed
Just a little loud I may put stock back on. I have not heard in stock
Form yet maybe spend the new exhaust on a flash until I can figure out what want

I made this recently raving been unsure about dB levels. It's not going to pass scrutiny for test accuracy but it gives a comparison with different cans on a LV decat. Hope it's useful.
