Does anyone know if the two hoses coming down from the tank exiting by the shifter assembly indicate that I have California emissions on this bike?
I'm concerned I have a charcoal canister even though bike is from NJ.

If you have two vent hoses hanging like that then no. The Cali bikes look to have only one that comes out there. The other (with the "A" above it in the picture) will instead go into the canister.

Other way to be sure is to lift up the gas tank. The charcoal cannister will be under there and the emissions sticker is in the back of the airbox. I went through one hell of a time proving this to CA DMV. It'll be listed as a 50 state vehicle instead of having the line "Does not meet CAL EPA standards"

Thank you. I really didn't feel like taking that tank off and I didn't quite understand that diagram before you explained.
