Ok, so here's where I reach out to you and you tell me to sell my bike and get the FZ.
51 year old male, So Cal.
I've been on the naked upright bus for a while now starting with the Gen 1 Tuono and currently the Speed Triple. Both great bikes and I do love my Triple. However, I'm pretty sure I need the motor of the FZ.
The Triple is fantastic. It's unique, it's fast out of the gate, it's great on the freeway, roll on power from start to 100 is awesome. After that, my buddies on their inline 4's walk away. That doesn't bother me too much though.
The Triple wheelies wonderfully in 2nd effortlessly- that's very important to me.

The Triple took a minute or two to get used to in the looks department but the verdict is in, it looks great to me and most others too. I love the color and the newer headlight design doesn't hurt my feelings at all.
I'm sure I can live with the styling of the FZ, I even think I'd choose the armor grey.
The only issues I'm trying to deal with on the FZ:
I wish the VMAX type front scoops were functional.
I've squeezed the front brake lever on the FZ, ugh. I would immediately be missing the Brembo radial front master, steel brake lines and Brembo vices on the Triple.
Storage- I have seen a rear bag, Chase Harper I think, that another user on this site I think has installed, some storage is a must have for me and there's no space under the seat of the FZ.
Since I'm seeing there's a flash available, that'll be a must have...$$$
Add quickshifter...$$$ (has anyone here done that yet?)
So, my Triple is paid for, it's immaculate, has a good deal of tasty extras, it's basically dialed in. Mileage is low at 12k.
Why do I need the FZ? Lay it on me....talk me into this thing...
