I broke down and did it lol. I ordered the Yosh 3/4 system and it’ll be here tomorrow. I shipped my ecu off to 2WDW today and should have it back by next weekend. I originally wasn’t going to do the exhaust because with my exup wired open with my 2WDW flash I was really happy with the sound and performance.
Well here’s why I changed my mind. I have a Crazy Iron full cage and sucage on my FZ-10. I took it off the repaint it place because the fluo yellow had faded to almost white after only a few months. Kinda pissed me off but I can’t exactly send the cage back to Russia to get repaired. So I rode the bike without the cage installed and could feel the weight difference immediately.
So I decided to offset the weight of the cage but going with a much lighter than stock exhaust.
Those of you with this set up what are your impressions of it. Sound, weight reduction, performance? I’ve had Yosh pipes on multiple bikes and they’ve always been top notch but that was years ago. I’ve also had Micron Two Bros and Vance and Hines but the Yosh pipes always stood out.

Thanks for the input and happy riding! Love my yoshi and 2wdw flash along with the ftecu active tune from 2wdw which is always tuning the motor wherever your riding at on my 2018! Fit and finish is perfect! It’s very loud, but sounds so so stupid awesome! Has a muscle car sound I would say! Never heard a better sounding bike anywheres! Big weight savings too! Per 2wdw website it makes 153rwhp!  |

My 1998 VFR with the Vance&Hines slip on was the best sounding bike I’ve heard in person so far. The gear driven cams whined like a supercharger and the V4 sounds so good. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this compares. I’m also curious to see how loud it is. My CBR1100XX with the Yosh 4 into 1 was “loud” but I can’t imagine why this would be any louder. That bike would scream at WOT.

Ok I got the pipe on and have an issue. The clamp they had for the joint between the muffle and the pipe seems to be way too big. Even cranking all the way down on it there still feels like there is a small exhaust leak. There were three clamps total. Two that connect to the the headder then springs connecting the Y and finally the clamp at the muffler. The two at the Y were the same size and much smaller. I don’t know what I should do. Call Yosh directly or Sportbike Track Gear where I bought the pipe from? I think since STG was just the middle man and rthe box was still sealed from the factory if I did receive the wrong clamp Yosh would be the ones I should call. No?
Oh and yeah this system is LOUD. It has to have something to do with the crossolane engine because no other bike I’ve had with a full system was ever this loud. It’s fine at speed but around town it’s a bit much. I talked to Nels from 2wdw Nd he said absolutely do NOT run the db killer. It makes the bike run way too rich. 🤷♂️ Ear plugs it is I guess.

Can u spin the clamp on the pipe when u have it tighten down? if the clamp is tight, I would just pull muffler back off and add a little copper high temp silicone Sealant to the joint and reinstall! Wipe off any excess and u should be good to go! Make sure the muffler joint is slide all the way into the midpipe before tightening down! You also might have to slide midpipe off the headers slightly towards the muffler, so u can get the muffler to joint to seal! |

Yea it is due to the cross plane firing order. I put the Hindle 3/4 on mine and it's crazy loud but damn does it sound nice. I'm considering getting their quiet insert for it.
As far as the camps go can you post pics?

Ok so I called Yosh directly and it was the wrong clamp. They sent out the correct one for free and all is well.
