Based on Gordo's review and the You tube vid I picked up a Vagabond Fender Eliminator kit off ebay and installed it yesterday.
Saves 1 lb over the oem set up. (Yes, I weighed them) Looks good, good quality. Good value at $70. Easy install, great instructions.
I've used a lot of the kits and this is the best I have seen. Thick aluminum, lightweight and sturdy. Oem lights fit perfectly.
Very pleased with this kit. I will buy another for my wife's FZ-09.

I just looked it up, and it does indeed look very good. Not sure if i want to install a fender eliminator yet as i ride mine dayly, and eventually want to install hard sidecases on it,but if i do it it will probably be with that one.

When I installed the fender eliminator on my FZ-09 it looked alot better, but when it rained, my whole backside would get absolutely filthy and soaked. I mean even more soaked than the front of my jacket and my arse too. I almost put the ugly stocker back on. Back of my jacket would have to be rinsed off before putting it in the washing machine, even after the rain stopped just a wet road would cause everything to fly up on my back. They look nice but man, don't ride on a wet road with a fender eliminator.

You're describing the very reason why i don want to remove the fender, sure it looks sexier without it,but so practical when you use your bike as your main transportation mode for about 8 months of the year.

I ride daily but I don't usually ride in the rain, it's too dangerous. I rely on on quick acceleration and maneuverability to stay safe from car drivers and that's lost on wet pavement. I've been hit a couple times, I'm kinda paranoid.

When the dumbbells in the cars start skidding all over the highway you are doomed if you are a motorcyclist. Plus the bike gets real nasty dirty in the wet. I'll save my rain riding for the dirt😊

I wonder if there would be a way to retrofit the new 2017 FZ-09 "fender" on the -10. It would clean up the tail and at the same time keep the fonctionality.

It looks clean on the bike, but I'm not willing to have a wet back when it rains. I don't think the 10's rear looks bad to start with.

Just hit home from riding the mountains it was a perfect 63 degrees in November!

Been thinking about this, why not make a fender extender mounted to the bottom holes of the license plate? It would be easy to make out of black plastic and easy to remove when not needed. Here's one that's already made: www.slidereef.com/en/yes it's for euro bikes but you get the idea.

I just finished the install and I looks great. I'm used to the rooster tail from all my other sport bikes. I'm really interest in adapting the tire hugger from an FZ09.
One note - the right turn signal is the white connector and left is black. The instructions are wrong but the video is correct.
Also the 8mm nuts for the license plate light would not screw all the way down. I tapped the treads and found a heave amount of lock tight in there. You can use the goofy red license plate reflective threads to run the threads back and forth so you don't have to worry about stripping the ones on the light. Install was a breeze.

This past weekend I installed the Graves fender eliminator on my FZ10. It's the second one I've installed, having purchased one for my R3 just last August. The written instructions for the R3 eliminator were so bad that I was forced to rely on a YouTube video posted by Sportbiketrackgear.com. The written instructions for the FZ10 were even worse, so I was forced to watch the install video posted by Vagabond. I'm sure I could've figured it out on my own, eventually, but the videos were a big help. I'm reluctant to order anything from Graves based strictly on how poor their install instructions are.
Some don't like the Graves fender eliminators because they don't have a dedicated plate light -- or the capacity to use the OEM plate light. However, it's designed to sit so close and slightly behind the tail light, such that the tail light plays double duty in illuminating the plate. The Vagabond elim looks great too though.

I just checked out the Graves Website. I remember it being very simple to install on my Fz10. The first line after the parts list says " it is recommended that this product be installed by a qualified technician". Seems pretty straight forward to me.
