So I live in Sydney and the only way to get rhinomoto bar ends is to order directly and get delivered from the states. All told $200 AUD So I ordered some cheapo mirrors and bar ends on ebay. Caps were shit. So I did this...if anyone's interested in making their own for 4 bucks Total including mirrors 25 AUD Get some steel tubing - see size on label
Measure and cut tubing based on mirror clamp width
Clean thread lock glue crap if required - eventually I did
Pop your new ring stopper on and test - shave more off if necessary. That mank on the bar end was there when I removed it. I cleaned it off with a bit of WD40 and a bit of elbow greece. My mirror clamps required my DIY caps (genuine original MT10 bar ends) to thicken out the area on the bar below, so I simply used black electrical tape - as you would white plumbers tape And voila...
Took it for a ride, no noticeable vibrations which is excellent. IL post back and update after next long ride. So far I'm loving it - so fricking good to see behind me for once !

I’ve got to say these cheap ebay mirrors are fantastic. They are tight, don’t vibrate or at least don’t vibrate anywhere near enough for them to be distracting nor are they any worse than the stock mirrors in this regard. I recently returned from a long 4 day trip and covered some very bad terrain, bumps, holes and vibey regional roads and not once did I need to re-adjust them. Just make sure and tighten the two small screws on the rear of the mirror and they are rock solid tight while still allowing you to adjust the mirrors on the fly. I think the bike looks better without the stock shrek ears not to mention I now have an additional 2 mounts for accessories. I’m now using my left stock mirror mount with a GoPro ball joint like this... www.hurtlegear.com.au/ram-b-349u-ram-1-ball-with-m10-x-1-25-pitch-male-thread/With regards to handle bar vibrations I’m not noticing anything different now with this mod. Extremely pleased with the results...
