Your comment was both unnecessary, and unhelpful. Which leads me to believe you may have too much time on your hands. Perhaps you should find a girlfriend or a hobby to keep you busy. Stop trolling. Read the manual, the information you need is in there.

I've bought a few new bikes, one was from BMW and they told me the engines we're run in on the bench so no need to run in, but I've also herd that using all the Rev range is best and not to cruise at same RPM so you don't glaze the bores, let the engine labour a little but not too much, this is what I've done and they all seem to be fine. I've just changed the oil in my MT10 and used silkolene pro 4, when it was getting serviced by the dealer they used motul but I always had the Yamaha tick, since changing to silkolene the tick seems to have gone, and for the price I always used genuine yam oil filter.

I'm not the one asking questions that are all covered in the owners manual. So maybe you should find a girlfriend and or a hobby that doesn't involve trolling asking questions that have been asked and answered literally thousands of times on every forum involving an internal combustion engine.
