I was on my way to work (in Mexico 😉) tonight. I got to a light were I had to turn right and there was a WRX STI in front of me with Colorado plates, I live in Alabama, that’s said buhbye I chuckled.
I could see him staring at me in the rear view mirror. The light changed and he takes off I go ok and follow well there’s traffic and at this point the road is only one lane in each direction. We ran up on another car so I back off and relax. Well he backs off too then guns it then backs off and then guns it 🙄. I know the road is about to widen so I wait and when it does I roll on pretty hard in second. Front tire is skipping across the pavement and Subie boy disappears.
We get to the next light and just happen to be next to each other. I’m turning left and he’s going straight. I’m looking over and he’s staring straight ahead with that 1,000 yard stare lmao. Poor kid when I finally stopped laughing I felt a little bad for him. 😂 His $40,000 car got destroyed by my $10,000 motorcycle and that’s why I’ve always loved bikes.

There is no better feeling that destroying a V8 (Camaro, Vette, Mustang, Challenger) by letting them get the jump then clutching it up in third and ripping past them on one wheel like they are standing still. Makes my heart flutter.

In my unit there was this 19 year old private that was boasting about his M2 as soon as anything with an engine was mentioned within earshot of him (daddys money car but talked about it like he paid for it). Like for real, a corporal was jokingly trying to sell his car to another sergeant for like 3000€ and this guy jumped into the conversation with his nose in the air "you should buy my car, its a blue M2 yada yada yada".
Well one day on the way home i pulled up next to him, and he lost the race. Was fun to see his face when he returned. That look of defeat. As a sergeant i made sure to give him a little bit of extra work just to put salt on the wound.

I was behind a Maserati last week.
Was trying to go fast through the curves but he didn’t seem very skilled.
Hit a straight and passed him.
I got up to 120 then slowed back down to 80, he eventually caught up.
Last night was on a 1 lane (per side) road, that goes to 2 lanes for about a mile then back to 1 lane.
Decided to pass a string of cars in the 2 lane section and get out front before it went back to 1 lane.
Hit a red light just before it went back to 1 lane.
Looked in my mirrors and there was an unmarked Charger with the lights on.
He was out of his car and pissed, didn’t want me to pull over had me shut off my bike right in the road.
Had me go back and sit in the front seat of his car while he gave me my ticket.
I was completely polite and cooperative.
96 in a 55.
Said he could take me to jail but wasn’t going to.
Court date isn’t until September.
I’ll get an attorney and see how much they think they can do with it, and how bad it will likely be.
Thankfully it was in Johnston County (country) and not Wake County (Raleigh), Wake is a bitch for speeding tickets.
