This might help someone, not the -10 but pretty similar. I'd also advice that you have a 6" 5mm allen wrench or socket. Other wise you'll be driving to home depot during the install.

That's the video I watched before I did my bike. The only real difference is the ducting you have to remove Around your tank. Sorry I didn't think about documenting it while I did it.

And keep in mind, our very own 2 wheel dyno works has block off plates for only $30, and free conus shipping for members.

Now I just read some guys post elsewhere that said take them out. Screw the guess work I'm gonna call Nels or Pat and ask them. In my case I left them in because they have a nice little rubber gasket around the edge. But I did have to take the Dremel to remove a little tit so the plate tightened down snug. Again I'm sorry I didn't document the whole process.

Hey guys, I just posted a thread in the tech forum on how to get in there and install the block off plates. It's not step-by-step (so use your service manual) but it should clear things up if you have any questions.

Nels at 2WDW told me that it's just as effective, and much easier, to simply plug the hose with a bolt shank or even a marble.

What hose is it? Do you have any pictures. I'm sure he means this hose (exposed on the left). ...you'll still need to cap the port on the left side of the airbox where this hose normally attaches. ...that said, if you're that deep in there, why not remove the system altogether and get rid of the weight & clutter.

I haven't done it and don't have pics, but Nels implied that it could be done from the from and it only takes a few minutes. I'm not doing exhaust yet, so I'll get into this later, but it's worth discussing if it's easier and cheaper.

After viewing this video, and his servo buddy one as well, I found this to be as close to a how-to as you can get until one of us does a video. It looks so close to ours under the plastics, common sense can take care of the rest. Once I have time, I'll do some videos if no one else has already.
