Being, 6'5'' I have found out that there aren't many bikes I can ride comfortably. I was starting to think that was the case after buying my MT-10. Not sure if it has been posted on here recently, but found some pegs from Knight Design that sit an inch and a half lower than the stock pegs. So for all you tall riders out there, look into these pegs. I put them on and couldn't believe the difference it made!! They do have a few options to choose from, as well as a rubber pad that sit an inch lower. And the price is fair for the product, in my opinion. www.knightdesignllc.com/Products/Motorcycle/Yamaha/FZ-10/Yamaha-FZ-10-1-5-Front-Foot-Pegs.htmlStay Safe Out There!!

Glad you could resolve your issue, but keep in mind if you like to ride the twisties aggressively, those would drag earlier than stock. Or substantially earlier without the feelers, so be careful. I have to say they look pretty well made; good find . It's always better to start with a taller seat (like the Corbin, in your case), before altering other things, but maybe you already did that as well .

I donโt ride turns as much as I used to, but used to ride them pretty hard. But in comparison, it looks like the lowered peg sits just below that of the curb feeler on the stock peg. But I never much problem dragging my pegs when in corners as I would use my body more than leaning the bike over.
I do have a Corbin seat coming in as well. So with both combined, Iโll be riding in paradise!! ๐๐

I've been running the rubber version for a couple years. I like em! I was soooo back and forth on buying the rubber ones, as I did love having them on my Gen 1 FZ1. Ended up choosing the ones that give a bit more comfort in the legs. Who knows, may decide to buy the rubber ones and use em for longer road trips!!

Do the lower pegs effect brake pedal at all? Yea you have to adjust it and the shifter pedal as well. It doesnโt affect the brake pedal as much as shifter pedal

I just rode home a new MT-10 and the pegs rose at least a foot from the showroom. So I'm shopping for lowering pegs. Did you find you were able to adjust your controls adequately? And do these pegs push your feet out from the bike too much? Thanks so much for your post, and have a great one.

Controls adjust easily and they don't push your feet out any more than stock.

I had Knight Design lowered pegs on my 2018 MT-10 and really appreciated the extra legroom. When I sold the bike, I kept them knowing I'd one day purchase another MT-10. I picked up a 2022 MT-10 last week. There's no assurance on the Knight Design website that the old pegs would fit on the new bike, but peg mounting must be identical or nearly identical for the new generation. I was able to mount the Knight Design pegs from the 2018 on the 2022 no problem. Adjusted the shift/brake and all is good.

I've been considering lowered pegs, it's good to know the mounting is the same. Ever since mounting lowered pegs on my Tenere, I've become a huge fan. When you're tall, your knees end up at a much tighter angle than a shorter rider's knees, and even a small drop in peg height can have a considerable impact on comfort.
